Based in Chesham in the heart of the Chilterns, Buckinghamshire, I am a breeder of bantam chickens, predominately Pekins and Sablepoots. What started as a project to hatch a few eggs for my children, turned into a passion to breed quality bantams for others to enjoy. Bantams make wonderful pets and produce delicious eggs. They are friendly, docile little birds that love fuss and attention. I hope you will enjoy your bantams as much as I do.
Katie
I sell fertile hatching eggs so you can enjoy the experience of hatching your own bantams, or to put under a broody hen. Eggs can be collected or sent in the post.
I stock a selection of Nestera chicken houses. Their chicken coops are not only environmentally friendly, but designed to ensure low maintenance, all year round.
PEKINS
Pekin bantams are not not only adorable in appearance, but they are a pleasure to have pottering around your garden. They have charming personalities, making fantastic pets. In particular, they are great with children and due to their feathered feet don't dig up your garden! They will produce between 150-200 eggs a year!
SABLEPOOTS
Sablepoots are sweet little hens with a lovely temperament which makes them ideal pets. They are pretty little birds with distinctive "booted" leg feathering. They are happily handled by small children and tread lightly making them a great garden bird. They will produce between 160-180 eggs a year.
"Absolutely beautifiul bantams, immaculate set up (it really is chicken paradise) and Katie is lovely - very friendly and very knowledgeable. Over the moon with our little trio who are just stunning!!! Highly recommend!!"

"I was blown away not only by the bounty of gorgeous birds, but also by her wonderful set up. No expense has been spared, no corner cut to build a magnificnet chicken world of idyllic coops and runs. Everything is spotless and the setting is heavenly and Katie is so generous with her time, advice and enthusiasm."

“Just a quick note to confirm that all the birds have settled in. They are busy sorting out the pecking order, but all out and eating their growers well. They are beautiful birds, and are a credit to your hard work and knowledge of the respective breeds. Many thanks for all your help”
